The new Chatterbus C3 service was officially launched in Cobham on 17th January by the Mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor Tony Popham, and the Chair of Surrey County Council Councillor Helyn Clack. Here they are with Chatterbus Chairman Sir Gerry Acher and our local Councillor David Lewis at the bus stop outside Waitrose.

The bus was officially sent into service to operate the new route with a blessing from the Reverend Dr Mike Branscombe, Vicar of St Andrew’s Church Cobham. The manager and staff of Waitrose Cobham were also on hand with a welcome supply of coffee and excellent biscuits for everybody.

The sun came out beautifully for the event, which we hope will be a happy omen for our new bus and the C3 weekday service
